Leith Liqueur Company Limited was formed as a result of a meeting between Norman Brown and John Smith. Norman of Largesse Corporate Gifts an entrepreneur with a considerable knowledge and expertise in the Food & Drink Industry and John a Master Blender with an illustrious career with Glenmorangie Plc, one of Scotland’s foremost Scotch Whisky Companies made the decision to start Leith Liqueur Company Limited with a vision of bringing to the market place over the next few years several new and innovative Liqueurs.
It was through Norman’s connections within Glenmorangie Plc that the meeting of John and Norman came about.
Both men knew and thought that there was a gap in the Drinks Market for a modern Malt Scotch Whisky Liqueur that was “different”. It had to be aimed at the younger market as well as the female market and had to be attractively named and packaged.
